The Educational Resources Centre Trust is holding a teacher training workshop at the North Maharashtra University Campus, Jalgaon, Maharashtra, December 20 - 22, 2006. Read the brochure for more details.

We have developed the self-development training modules especially for college and high school teachers and have implemented this program for the past ten years in over fifty colleges throughout India. The effectiveness of the instruments has been validated through testing and evaluation by teachers from 25 colleges in a project funded by the Ford Foundation from 1995 to 2000. The workshops are now being extended to colleges and high schools throughout India at regional locations.

This is our second workshop this year in Self development for teachers. It will be held from December 20 to 22, 2006 (both days inclusive) at the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, Maharashtra, This three-day program will be restricted to 30 participants. The course is designed for College Faculty. Information on the contents of the workshop and resource persons, and a Registration Form, is given below.

The total cost inclusive of lunch and training materials is Rs.5000 per participant Payment must be made by demand draft payable at a bank in New Delhi, and made out in the name of the Educational Resources Centre Trust. The last date for receipt of registrations and demand draft is December 1, 2006.

The workshop will be held at the Guest House on NMU campus, where accommodations will be arranged. Jalgaon is accessible by train on major railway routes:
1)Mumbai-Delhi via Bhopal;

Jalgaon is on routes:
1)Mumbai-Delhi via Bhopal
2)Mumbai-Calcutta.

 Most trains stop at Jalgaon. It is also possible to get down at Manmad
or Bhusaval from where buses are easily available for Jalgaon.There are also
direct trains from Bangalore and Chennai.
