The Educational Resources Centre (ERC) committee of consultants has been continuously reviewing the project and assessing its impact on campuses. An intensive study of
some CDI colleges has just been completed. A report should soon be available and we look forward to it. As we near the end of the fifth year of the. Campus Diversity Initiative, we are at a point where we are looking back to consolidate our
learnings, so that we can carry the Initiative forward. There is no doubt that most of the colleges have come to identify the program as a major on-going activity on campus. They have integrated it into their academic and co-curricular activities and see the extension work in rural areas and the local community as an important dimension of their students' experience in linking their college work with community needs. We would like to share the impact of the CDI programs on student development, faculty development and the curricula.
